Maxrac® Slotted Angle shelving, including angle rivet shelving and angle rack configurations, can be easily assembled, offering flexibility for extension in both width and height. This feature, combined with its easy installation that requires no special tools, makes the Maxrac® Slotted Angle system ideal for manual warehousing. Additionally, the system can be further expanded by adding decking or gangways, which can be accessed via pre-assembled staircases, to meet the growing and evolving needs of your business.
Angle Post Features
Our angle post uprights for rivet rack shelving are constructed from durable 14-gauge steel, designed to provide strength and stability. For a single freestanding rack, angle posts are used at all four corners. When creating extended rows with add-on units, two intermediate T-post uprights are used between sections, while two angle post end uprights are placed at the outermost corners. These uprights feature keyhole slots, which securely hold your rivet rack beams in place. The rivets on the beams fit into the keyhole slots, forming a robust and stable structure. The keyhole design allows for easy adjustments of beam levels on 1-1/2-inch centers. Since the beams are installed without the need for tools, it’s simple to modify your level spacing as your storage requirements evolve.
Assembly and Installation
Assembling the rivet rack shelving with angle post uprights is straightforward and tool-free. Each unit is constructed with four uprights. Depending on your needs, you can use either single or double rivet beams to create the necessary shelving levels for your industrial metal shelving system. We strongly recommend securely anchoring all storage racks to ensure stability. Be sure to install the metal storage racks properly, ensuring they are plumb and level before securing them to the floor and/or wall. To anchor the posts, use rivet rack foot plates along with wedge anchors for added security.
